Finally! the third and final artwork of my supposedly 3-part contest entry for
I would really like to thank the group for hosting such an awesome contest. I definitely enjoyed it. More importantly it was definitely good news to me that I won even though I haven't finished all 3 of the entries.
Nonetheless, this is for those who were eager to know what happened next after part 2. Here it is! Hope you enjoyed the story *ehem* cliffhanger
---------------
Scene: Most of the gruesome "Jester Killings" were done in bars found only in the shadiest of alleys in London. That is why Detective Mange makes it a point to avoid bars nowadays. However, after long days of work she finally had the courage to enter this particular bar. A bar that she was quite fond of.
Mange: I'm telling you, ever since the Grand Ball dance with the beast I never had a single good-night's rest. What's even more embarrassing is that I couldn't even enter my own bathroom without holding a knife. It's pathetic.
Bartender: It couldn't be that bad. Here, have some more
Mange: Oh you have no idea what I'm going through. It's like you're afraid of you're own shadow. And he's exactly like that, a shadow. What he did to the Duke's son was...I'm not even going to say it. When I find him and I will find him, I'll definitely end him with my own hands.
Bartender: Be careful on that. You'll never know when he'll be around the corner readying an attack on you when you least expected it. That's what you told me, right?
Mange: We both know that won't happen.
Bartender: Oh we do?
Mange: *giggles* Back when we were kids you told me these words - "I got your back, Buttercup,". And ever since then we got each other's backs. And we still do. Right, Butch?
Bartender: You don't say?

Who is this unfamiliar character? Or maybe he's not so unfamiliar after all.
